Site 7: North Shore

The North Shore housing development and Hilton Hotel have started to create a character for this area, and further sites such as Dairy car park and the Peugeot Garage could also be explored to expand the town centre living offer in this area. As the town centre continues to grow in the longer term, the belt of warehouses and distribution centres to the North of this intervention area may become more valuable land for further mixed use development. It is vital to ensure this area is well connected into town along the riverfront, and with options to explore improved road connectivity and bus routes.
