Site 5: Prince Regent Quarter

This is a regeneration strategy for the town centre fringe area along West Row, Yarm Lane and to the west of Prince Regent Street. It could include environmental works, traffic calming measures, housing retrofit and infill development. The wider area around Prince Regent Quarter hosts a number of small light industrial businesses, manufacturing and repair shops, and entertainment and creative venue. This area could be strengthened as a mixed use creative neighbourhood, with consideration given to the housing to the west.
