This central area in Stockton could be regenerated into a new residential-focussed mixed-use quarter.
The design team are considering which existing facilities should remain in this location, which existing buildings should be converted or demolished, and how the remaining spaces could provide a further mix of accommodation and high quality public spaces. Redevelopment would focus on providing high quality mixed tenure residential units, with leisure uses and improved public spaces and walking routes.
